Mr. Zubair Baweja joined the Board of Directors of Pakistan Hotels Developers Ltd. on 25th July, 1997. He holds a MBA (Marketing) from New Port University, New Port, USA. He has been working as Executive Director with Regent Plaza Hotel since March, 2000. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, he served as Director Operations at M/s. Taj Medical Complex (Now Hamdard University/Hospital) during the years September, 1992 to September, 1997. During the periods October, 1997 to December, 1999, he also served as Director F&B at M/s. Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, Karachi. He has extensive experience in Hospitality Operations and Administrations and has introduced and modified various procedures to stream line the functioning of the hotel's various departments for the benefit of the organization and to increase efficiency and controls. He has attended various technical training courses in hospitality industry. He is associated with various social & welfare associations including trustee of The Roshni Trust, which is running a charity school for less privilege children.
